Winners announced: 2026 BAFTA Games Awards with Google Play

Clair Obscur: Expedition 33 wins three BAFTAs for Best Game, Debut Game and Jennifer English wins Performer in a Leading Role 

Dispatch also wins three BAFTAs for Animation, Audio Achievement and Jeffrey Wright wins Performer in a Supporting Role 

Ghost of Yotei wins two BAFTAs for Music and Technical Achievement 

Atomfall wins British Game

London, Friday 17 April 2026, 9.15pm GMT: The winners of the 2026 BAFTA Games Awards with Google Play were announced tonight in a ceremony hosted by Elz at the Southbank Centre’s Queen Elizabeth Hall in London and streamed on @BAFTA YouTube and Twitch. The BAFTA Games Awards celebrate the very best games of the past year and the people who made them, showcasing a wide range of storytelling and creative excellence. 

Clair Obscur: Expedition 33 won three BAFTAs: Best Game, Debut Game and Performer in a Leading Role for Jennifer English. 

Dispatch won three BAFTAs: Animation, Audio Achievement and Performer in a Supporting Role for Jeffrey Wright. 

Ghost of Yotei won two BAFTAs: Music and Technical Achievement.  

Atomfall won British Game.  

Death Stranding 2: On the Beach won Artistic Achievement; No Man’s Sky won Evolving Game; Blue Prince won Game Design; Kingdom Come: Deliverance II won Narrative; Arc Raiders won Multiplayer; South of Midnight won New Intellectual Property and LEGO Party! won Family.  

Despelote, a debut game, won Game Beyond Entertainment. 

The BAFTA Fellowship was presented to Supercell CEO and co-founder Ilkka Paananen. The Fellowship is presented in recognition of an outstanding contribution to games, film and television and celebrates exceptional individuals who have driven innovation, creativity, and positive change in the screen arts over the course of their career.  

The BAFTA Games Awards are supported by headline sponsor Google Play and official partners: EE, Epic Games, PlayStation, AGM and Games London. 

The BAFTA Games Awards 2026 is part of the London Games Festival, which runs from 13 April to 19 April across the UK capital. Now in its 11th year, the festival engages with over 100,000 people every year across a range of events for public and industry. These include new consumer expo New Game Plus, global investment event Games Finance Market, and Ensemble, an exhibition celebrating UK games professionals from Black, Asian and underrepresented ethnicities. LGF is delivered by Games London and supported by the Mayor of London and UK Government.
